Question about the D4C LECC V Jay O or Tony or ???
As mentioned recently Legacy is very busy trying to get our LECCs out as well as their regular "business" Last thing I want to do is hinder progress, but I will admit that I am anxious to get this hot lil Continental in my hands!
What I would like to know is, if I have pre-ordered Via a currently valid Credit Card and left the required deposit, do I have to do anything else to assure that my LECCs will arrive? I read somewhere below something about sending in a check or something to that effect for the balance??? As far as I know last year I pre-ordered the '57 Corvettes and the pair arrived after Legacy charged my CC for the balance. Is this the case here or do I have to send a check for the balance? I am sure others have the same thoughts and don't want to pester anyone!
Also, is there anyway of me finding out WHEN mine will ship? THANKS in advance guys.
To answer your questions...
You do not need to do anything further at this point. As in years past, they will charge your credit card for the balance when your car is set to ship. The issue of mailing in checks was only for those who elected to pay by check and not credit card.
As for the second question, there is no way to know when you car will ship. I'm still waiting for mine and I believe quite a few others are as well. Theoretically, you'll get an email once it does ship letting you know the car is in transit.
Jeremy
This is how it worked for me: charged my card, got an e-mail, got the car--a beauty.
Same Here. Card Charged...
and email notification that car shipped, with a UPS tracking number, was received. Car arrived within four days of that notice. And LECC V is well worth the wait!
Thanks guys I bet it IS worth the wait!
It looks to me like it will be my most favorite LECC to date! THe 30 Caddy was my favorite so far followed by the '57 Vette, then the Packard, and the Gold Vette. Nice work FM and all involved! I am sure Doug F will agree, "What's NOT to like about a Lincoln/Continental" :)) LOL
Thanks guys.........You've answered the same questions that I too have been thinking
At least you received yours after your card was charged.
It is looking more likely that those of us that paid by check are at the end of the shipping list.
Thanks Phil for asking the question and..........
Thank You Jeremy for the answers. My renewal dues were late (I just plain forgot) but were paid and confirmed and I was concerned about receiving the cars. I have no intention of forfeiting my deposits.
Everyone who posted in this thread and is waiting...
I looked and each of your orders IS in the queue.
Not necessarily true Bob.
I used a credit card myself and I have heard NOTHING! But that doesn't surprise me. At the risk of having this post deleted, here goes .....
Legacy took almost two months to replace my defective Zone Shelby. And it wasn't until I expressed my displeasure both here on the board and directly to Legacy that I finally got it. The replacement was worse than the first (not Legacy's fault), and I was told a call tag would be in the mail to return the second one. That was about two weeks ago, and still no call tag. Me thinks maybe they are pi##ed at me. I'll be shocked if I get my lincoln anytime soon.
Not true Bob--I paid by Credit Card and have heard nothing, but then again, I'm patient, doesn't matter if its today or next week as long as I get one. LOL
Me too-Jay LOL
me too, me too!!!!LOL
Thank You, Jay.
Thanks Bill, I am feeling better already.
I am sure I will be feeling better after my trip tomorrow. I don't know if there will be any surprises but I am hoping.
