Question: Danbury mint 1959 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtop
Gang, I remember that someone posted a blue DM 1959 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtop prototype on our Auction page a while back. Anyone know who the seller was? Thanks!

PIC: This is the DM 59 Pontiac in question. It was never mass produced and this was a 1 of 1 car.

This may be blasphemy, but...
Couldn't a guy take a less than nice Pontiac and use the top from a 59 Caddy or 59 Impala to make this model? I mean, if you REALLY had to have one... I can't find a 59 Pontiac in my range yet. I can't even find less-than-nice ones really. I watch for them, but on a limited hobby budget. Such nice replicas. And this coupe is spectacular.

Randall, look at the box behind the car. This was factory made by/for Danbury Mint as a new release.
Unfortunately, it never made it to production.

Too bad DM didn’t get this into production. I have the ‘59 convert and all three 1958’s
I was also hoping for 1960 and 1961 models.
