Question re 1932 Cadillac black sedan by Danbury...
I purchased this model sometime ago and took it out of the box just to look at and admire the craftsmanship. As I opened the doors, I noticed that the right front door was somewhat loose. Looking at it more closely I noticed that the top hinge was broken. It wasn't that the connecting pin had slipped thru, but the actual hinge (don't recall if it was the part connecting to the door or the body) where the pin would go thru had broken. I had never heard of this happening on this model before. Has anyone else had this happen? I know it is a fix I can't do, I suppose I could contact Bosco's Garage, but I think this might be something that really can't be fixed, any resulting repair would almost certainly be too fragile to be reliable. Just curious if anyone else had this happen. Thanks again for any replies.
I never had problem with the hinges...........
Is it the top or bottom?
Hi Richard - it was the top hinge on the front passenger side door.
