@perrone1 I owned a 58 hardtop that was all white with a truquoise/silver/black interior. Great car with 348 four barrel, power glide, power steering skirts, dual antennas, spinner wheel covers and factory continental kit. Loved that car but had too many cars and something had to go.

Have it and love it.  In my opinion, the '58 Chevy was the real looker of the fifties Chevy line-up.  Great pic!

Well, just how many cars did you have ?

And how did you end up deciding that the Chevy had to go ?

This has to be a most interesting story do you mind telling it to us ?

@100ford2003 Steve, at the time I sold the 58 Impala I had a 1961 Corvette (still have), a 1963 Thunderbird Sports Roadster (still have), A 1955 Imperial Newport (still have),a 1963 Avanti, a 1979 Continental Mark V, a 1929 Model A roadster hot rod and 1955 Thunderbird in Goldenrod Yellow. The first three are the only ones I have presently have. Over the years I have owned over 80 collector cars but my age has finally slowed my buying and trading 1/1 cars so I take my addiction out on model cars.

And Steve, in case you haven't seen it, meet Mr. Jackman and see his collection of those model cars:

Thank-you for your reply Bob. I love the 3 you kept and have seen pics here. It must have been tough to let the Avanti go.
