R.I.P. Michael Paul Smith......

The great dioramist and imaginative artist and photographer moved permanently to Elgin Park this past Monday, November 19, 2018 after a period of declining health. He would have been 68 years old last Thursday.

Truly a talented man who left us much too early.

What very sad and completely unexpected news. He was a true master in several areas : modeling of sets and buildings, photography, lighting, and, above all, the imagination to capture a time and mood in an image.

This makes me sad. To have insight into his life watch the biographical video that he made. Truly an honest, up-front, talented man who found himself through the dioramas that he created.

RIP.
