JB, I'm overcome with emotion watching that video from REM. I don't know why the song appeals to me as much as it does. I'm trying to decipher what it means and I'm having a hard time doing it. All I know is I love the music and the lyrics are pretty awesome too.
I'd almost think that it was directed by Frederico Fellini I've seen a few of his films and I see instances where his genius comes thru.Β
Thanks for spiriting up my emotions. I live a dull, boring life but great music is my Savior.Β
Tracey Chapman's 'Fast Car' is coming up next and that was one hell of a fantastic album when it was released... And still is. What a voice and what emotion in the song and the lyrics. I'm so glad I lived in the time of great music because I can't stand any of the garbage that's recorded today.
Another one of my faves that I don't hear of much anymore is Anita Baker... Wow, what a great debut album !
