Russian Island bird
See it came in the mail. Since moving going to leave
it boxed up but wondered what some have thought of the
model
LOVE this one...
...the cheerful lemon-yellow paint is smooth as glass and contrasts sharply with the bright white "porthole" top, sparkling chrome trim, and black-and-white interior. Ride height and overall stance look great too. Maybe not quite up-to-the-minute in operating features, but more than makes up for that in how beautifully it displays. This one will bring a smile to your face every time you look at it.

It's a beauty
I put a set of wire wheels from the DM 53 Buick Skylark on it and it really pops, put a set on the red T-Bird too, looks great.
That's a great idea on those wheels, Art.
What about the Buick logo on the wheel center?
How do you pull those wheels off the both cars?
Martin, first off, the logo is too small to be concerned about for my eyesight. :-B On both cars the wheels are 2 part. The hubcap (or outer half of the wire wheel) and tire peel right off and the inside half is screwed to the axle, it makes a real easy swap.
Ok, I'll try that. I'll come and get you if I break something!! LOL!
Art, but, but, what do you do with the Buick Skylarks with the missing shoes?
You wouldn't happen to have an nice Mandarin red (maroon) body just laying about, would you?

I bought a distressed Skylark - those wheels plus the spare and the spares from my other 3 Skylarks made up 2 sets of wheels. Sorry don't have a spare body around.
