This was the first WCPD 1:24 diecast I bought. And yes, the color combo is a knockout beauty. But the other reason is I like the '59 Chevy's a lot and my very first REAL car was a '59 Impala 2-door HT, white exterior and red interior. With those "Bat-Wing" taillights, I felt like Batman driving it.

@jack-dodds +1. I couldn't resist the model especially in these colors. All of the WCPD models are a highlight in my collection.

I'm in on all the above comments. I too had to have it as soon as I saw it in those colors. The colors contrast nicely with DMs Crown Sapphire? convertible, which I display from the rear to show the "Batwing" taillights.

I went nuts when Dad brought home his '59 Impala 2dr hrdtp in white with that beautiful multi-blue interior. I was 6. I do remember that dad had a 55 or 56 Oldsmobile that he traded in. And I definitely remember it was red and white or I should say white over red. That was a great car too cuz I remember the dashboard.
