a few days back Rich posted pics of the Trax 1/24 Holden FJ. Trax also modeled the Holden FJ Special Sedan equipped with NASCO (National Automotive Service Company) options. The FJ Special featured upgraded interior trims, exterior chrome highlights, and a 132.5 cu in (2.2L) 'grey motor. I'd actually just won this model on ebay when Rich posted his pics and it arrived a couple of days ago. It is excellent. The upgrades really differentiate it from the standard sedan. How about the venetian blinds in the rear window? Remember them? Quintessentially 50s hey?
Along with the other Trax 1/24 FJs and a 48-215.

I LOVE THESE HOLDENS - I just checked my database, and I have ten of them. Eight by Trax and 2 from DDA. They are awesome.

Absolutely beautiful models Geoff. I love 'em. I was hoping, against all hope I guess, that someone would have done the Efigy in 1/24. Man, I'd love to have that. One of the best concept cars ever. 💯🤑

Wonderful. I have the two tone green and the two tone blue and they're excellent models. I'd add the taxi and your dark red if I could find a good deal. Enjoy.

Geoff I remember the venetian blinds. Neighbors of our had a Starlight Studebaker with them in the early fifties. Love the pictures and commentary. The Holden FJ is a handsome automobile IMO.

@bob-jackman thanks gents. Good luck Mark, the taxi comes up pretty regularly on the Australian ebay, as does the special but not so often.
Bob, my late uncle had venetians like this on the rear window of his 64 EH which I had the opportunity to accept when he passed but I declined because of nowhere to safely keep it at the time. A decision I regret to this day!
