Factory stock is best. Well, except maybe for a raccoon tail on the antenna, necker knob on the steering wheel, mud flaps and curb-finders! But no JC Whitney chromed Ah-Ooga Horn.
@perrone1 The '55 Bel Air 2drHT, post and Nomad is IMHO one of those cars that, while possessing a rather clean and simple design, just cannot be altered in any way to improve it. It can of course be customized/restomodded to look imposing and very cool but stock cannot be beaten.

You're right, of course. I was just foolin' about with mud flaps and the rest.
@perrone1 For sure Tony; Ah-ooga horns and assorted "goodies" are cool and period correct on the pre-war sourced hot rods so prevalent on the streets in the 50s. I missed that era by a few years but I'm sure the young folks had a hoot with those cars and the social life that went with them. I recall as a kid seeing the customized/rodded cars being driven by the "older guys" and remember the hot rod clubs and associated jackets bearing their respective crests....very cool. Bring on the Brylcreem, the rat tail combs and smokes rolled up in the T-Shirt!

Yeah...we feel strongly about this and remember... we know where you live.
What a superb car and replica of it .... and in a great color combination ! My Dad had a real 1955 Bel Air coupe, so is one of the ealiest automobiles I remember.

Well there - see, you are looking at the wrong end of the quacker - the DA is in the back of the little duckie-do.
