I remember well the conversations on the old Forum 24 that you mention Rich. But who can fail not to fall in love with these items of true beauty?
Curbside wasn't a term I was familiar with either living on the east side of the pond so it must have been an American expression. When I was a kid any toy model car released in the 1960's that didn't feature at least one opening part was termed 'boring'! But at least the Teardrop has a removable sun roof so that one can fully appreciate the interior detailing. My personal favourite is the blue over silver.
