Thanks to one of the guys here I was able to add this beautiful Buick a few months ago!
Great deal and MIB. I was chasing one down for a while but they always either sold too high or were missing the side mirrors, hood ornament etc. I'll keep it till I DROP so.... Special shout out and THANKS!! One of DMs BEST IMO

Very sharp. I thought about the blue version; but, never pulled the trigger.
One of DM's best and one of my favorites. I have it, and the blue one as well. Love both!

I really wanted the blue one too!
George is the shade of blue less vibrant then most pictures show?
That's a great model, I received mine through the Preview Society.
I purchased this one when it was first introduced. Love it. I prefer it over the solid blue......
version which to me appears like a tacky $29.99 Earl Scheib paint job. What was DM thinking.

Phil, I'm honored. I knew it was going to a great home. Enjoy my friend.
Yup, it’s a gem! Glad I have this beauty.

Proud to have this beauty in my collection!
Yes!!! Bingo. In the early 80s my dad had his 1970 LTD Repainted by them
The car originally was midnight blue. It looked black at night and in black and white pictures! He repainted it using an earl shieb stock blue, the closest they had dad told me. When the car came back I gasped!! It looked terrible, not so much paint quality but the shade of blue. It was a very cheap fake looking color! In some photos the DM Buick looks like that. One reason I never bought it. Other pics show it a bit darker leaving me wondering in person what it will look like??
The way they did the two tone blows me away!!!
I occasionally see the original 1:1 from which the model was copied. Usually it is in July at the (Erie) Canal Fest in North Tonawanda, NY. The owner has the story posted on his inside window. The original 1:1 car is a deep maroon.
LOL.....Phil, the Earl Scheib green was equally as offensive.
