@charles-rockett I'm sure such fishing is pure contentment and bliss Charles, but please remember JayBee's style is to snag his catch by the gills bare handed while up to his shoulders in the raging surf of the OBX. There's no going back from that experience....the fanfare, interviews, groupies, sponsorships, magazine centerfolds.......nothing can compare......it changes a man.

@charles-rockett Sorry...I digressed. For our man JayBee its the whipping of the OBX ocean wind, the lash of the waves against his straining body and the contentment of cashing his cheque from Fisherman's Quarterly.

Never a disappointment ! The Times' cryptic crosswords would be a distraction while driving, I imagine?
And just to set the record straight, the whip & lash began as a counter to the contentment of a Buick woody wagon and not caring about a balding pate.

I'm with you, but didn't want anybody thinking the thread topic, (as developing) was a form of projection on my part.
