FM 1940 Ford Franklin Tree Farm Truck

Just as he has done each weekday since the Railroad deemed him "unsuitable" for human interaction.........Bert (Goldie) Goldstein waits patiently with his trusty spade at curve #17, as he prepares to pelt the afternoon train with carefully chosen pea gravel

I hear it told that eccentric old "Pebbles" Goldstein was the inspiration for the term "went right round the bend".

That` what some of `em say alright.....and some will tell you he went under-ice spelunking for the Bigfootlochness Grandaddy Catfish.....went out early on a Wednesday, with near every damn pocket full of pea gravel, to chuck at the train......the thin ice had other plans for Goldie that day....

To this day,no-one ventures out on Goldstein`s bend ......the one attempt made to haul his Teardrop "house" away, did NOT meet with success
