Scotty’s Motel looks a lot like the Bates Motel….

and not much else sir!
Hooker Roxanne Delacroix chats up Willie Pounder, her most regular john, in the parking lot of Scotty's Motel; explaining her new "dickie dunker" punch card program. Pounder, a quiet spoken beer party keg delivery driver, compulsive sex addict and self deprecating "Mama's Boy", spends most of his paychecks on "Roxy" and Viagra, so getting a freebie every tenth time appeals to him. Pounder has an obsessive fixation on the brassy and sultry blonde mattress thrasher, in spite of her being fifteen years older than him. In fact on this day he will be observed to liaise with her no less than four times; switching motels each time at her direction to avoid police attention. Unbeknownst to Roxanne and Willie however, veteran LAPD Vice Squad detective Joe Thursday, who is very familiar with the popular hooker, lurks nearby in the shadows, keenly assessing the situation. Pounder has just come to his attention as the result of a BOLF heads-up from Patrol Division officers McCord and Milner. The partners had attended Pounder's residence hours earlier on a neighbor complaint of a long term foul odor emanating from the reclusive bachelor's modest bungalow. Recognizing the ominous and familiar odor and getting no response at the front door, the officers apprehensively entered through an unlocked rear bedroom window and recoiled in horror when they found the occupied rocking chair in front of a television left on. A check of the immaculate home yielded a business card on Pounder's bedside nightstand embossed with "Butterfield Seven Escort Service" and Roxy's name and phone number; resulting in a briefing call to Vice for assistance in locating him. Back at the surveillance scene it begins to dawn on Joe Thursday that, unlikely as it may seem, the young man in the old International company truck just might in fact be the suspect William Pounder. Thursday quietly slinks back to his unmarked Dodge sedan and settles in to see what will transpire.........
