The question of most favorite car has been asked several times,What's your LEAST favorite?
One of my least liked is the original DM 1958 Chevy Impala turquois convertible. I don't like the color, I don't like the connie kit, and I don't like the HUGE spare tire well hanging below the car. I've looked at it and wondered what possessed me to buy it, but I know it was my love for the 58 Impala and this version being the only one available at the time.
Mine would be CMC's 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450SL
I have never liked the model, it just looks odd.

My Least Favorite are still sitting on the warehouse shelves of Danbury & Franklin
I only buy what puts a grin on my face and blows my skirt up
If it butt ugly ... I don't spend my hard earned money
Only reason my collection is so small is because my champagne appetite starves because of my MadDog 20-20 / Thunderbird pocketbook
FM's Yellow '86 Corvette
Tough question and i think the 'tooling / technology' of the day has a bering...
...on my choice...the FM '57 Bel Air hardtop / hot rod / black + flames.
Funny thing is I believe 'this' was my '2nd', new diecast purchase overall from FM. At the time, I thought it was great. I'd say 'now' it's just a decent image. After buying several DM '57 Bel Air hardtops - they make the FM version look SILLY.
I have a 3 way TIE for my least favorite 1:24 die-cast cars.
In no particular order:
FM 1957 Chevrolet (red & white) Hardtop. Absolutely junk compared to DM's versions.
FM 1958 Plymouth Fury (turquoise & white) Hardtop. So totally mis-shaped it isn't even funny.
FM 1960 Chevrolet (white) Hardtop. Too many things wrong with this one to even list them.
All in all, I have 20 cars in my collection of 285 1:24 cars that I think are just plain bad. But the three listed above simply stand out as the worst.

They could NOT have measured a thing. That's an Eyeball car & Poor at that.
Tie: Both FM; both Corvettes. 1978 Silver Anniversary and the simply awful 1984 blue!!
TFM '61 Lincoln Continental Convertible-LE of 1000 comes to mind......
for me more hype than substance.
