To Michelle Peters, regarding Cadillac models.

Hello Michelle,

Thank you very very much for the good news and I wish you the best for all your future models.

Although I have some preferences probably due to my age, it must be quite hard to try to satisfy everybody's taste. Regarding Cadillacs, this is the only brand I am collecting for decades. I think I'll be very happy with any models after 1941, as long as it has not already being made by the late Jo-Han Models.

Of course, Jo-Han kits are rare and expensive now especially promos so some reproduction isn't maybe a bad idea, knowing that Jo-Hans were near perfect in proportions but not built as detailed models with chromes, paint etc etc... Still, Automodello is about to release a 68 Eldorado, but done already by JoHan.

Maybe the best idea is to look into the entire Cadillac Jo-Han's production and fill some gaps.

Sedan 4 doors are missing after 1963 and nothing in the seventies. Nothing at all in the Fifties either, no Eldorados after 1977 and absolutely no limousines at all, from any decades. There are a lot of choices here.

Some folks are talking about 1962 and 1958 Coupe DeVille. Good choice !.
I'd also love a 1953 Fleetwood 60S, 1960 Eldorado Seville, 1971 Coupe DeVille, 1973 and 1976 Limousines etc etc...

Anyway, I am so happy that you have licences from GM and Cadillac. Means that the models you'll make will be very accurate and as good as Jo-Han's.

Thank you again for asking us and being so close to your customers.
Good luck with your business, and have fun !

Regards.

Al I would LOVE a 1957 Coupe Deville. Why? My parents got married in 1961.

I think shortly after they bought a second hand white 1957 Cadillac. I saw pictures of it, but it was long gone by 1966 when I was born. My dad said the transmission went around 1964 when my sister was born, money was tight and he sold the car for $25. He said the drivers door had a big dent from a bicycle. crashing into it!! Remember back then no side impact beams so essentially the expanse of a door was just sheet metal without any real support!
