The pink and charcoal combo is so perfect for both that model and the period. It was the fashion rage in the mid fifties from, surprisingly, men's fashions to bathroom and kitchen tiles.

Tony great photos.  Only wish that Danbury had done this 57 in a different color.  My Dad had a 57 which my brother now has since his death.  It is all black with Red interior.  I learned to drive on this car.
