Anyone know the story behind this color Lincoln. I'd have this first out of all the colors this model was released in. ebay item 157071229541.

We listed it when issued by TFM 3/1/1998 simply as dark blue. There were more than one dark blue names to choose from by Lincoln that year. Relatively rare, it was made for employees of Ford Motors. Only a small number have found their way to the secondary market from the original recipients.

Could be Capri Blue or Darian Blue...colors appear to be the same.

thanks Tony, intriguing! I wonder how many are actually out there? I check secondary markets regularly and cannot recall ever seeing one. I just love the color.

If memory serves Geoff, the number of 500 or less stands out.

I have this model in this color but the top boot on mine matches the interior color.

She's a looker and in this color, spectacular. I've had one of these in my collection since 1998. A friend of a friend got me mine. I probably paid way too much for it, but I am thrilled with the color. Looking at my database, I have a quantity of 500 listed but with a question mark, which usually means unverified.

As far as the color, I have it listed as Zephyr Blue in my database, not sure why now, but there it is.

Here's mine.
