The perfect car to glide down to Key West in. Have a Lime Margarita at Jimmy Buffett's and, smooth as chiffon, make our way back at sunset.
@perrone1 Ah yes, riding in a piece of Key Lime Pie.
@perrone1 I LIKE how you think Tony.....it triggered memories for me.....thanks! Btw I'm sad to say my ride at that time was a rented Chrysler 200 sedan......
Great for the up and coming summer weather.

For the years we lived in west Florida, my daughter and I drove to my mom's house in Hollywood (Ft. Lauderdale area) and stayed a few days. Every single year we did that we rented a car to drive further south to Key West. Heather would have no other car but a convertible Mustang. I could still give a tour of the place and all its attractions - HA!
@perrone1 Great memories hey Tony? I love Key West and the drive there!

Oh my goodness, yes. I told the story here on the forums some time ago, about eating lunch at Margaritaville with Heather and Jimmy Buffett sat down and ate a few of her french fries. She started to get put out until I clued her in as to who he was. Then she was a typical giddy girl!
Living in Tennessee, Shirl and I still went down to visit Mom before she passed, at 98 and a month, and always drove the 5 hours to Key West. We usually made favorite stops in Islamorada and Bahia Honda State Park, then Key West.
