I'm with you Pete. I feel better knowing they're in a temperature & moisture-controlled environment.
I put car boxes in bigger boxes that will fit thru the garage attic opening. ....
Then up they go. I also write on the outside of the big box what car boxes it contains. Makes it easier to find little box later..... Been doing it for seven years and no sign of deterioration yet, even opened a few 'oldies' last month looking for hang tags and styro looks fine also.
Here is what I am going to do!!!!!!!!
Last year while tenting at yellowstone Park in the Aztek it got real cold at night. This year I am taking just the right number of boxes to make an insulating wall around the inside of the Aztek tent. Then I will be all warm in my sleeping bag. I also found out that Aztek's really scares Bears away. Warm and safe!!!!!! AZTEK POWER
I used to do that. Now they are in large plastic totes.
Sounds good, Ivan..McGiver'd be proud..he'd know what to do with " boxes "
Jer..isn't boxing boxes some kinda' Chinese art? You amaze me sometimes-hee-hee
I have a closet in my downstair's office where I store my boxes!
