What has happened to D4C #5? When in 2005?
Since No Communication.......
Iam going to assume no one can put a date on it. It is a shame in my opinion that we are not valued enough to be kept informed of the progress of this. If in my line of work I do not keep my customer informed of an order placed they go elsewhere. I can only assume since this is a one of a kind item, well you catch my drift. This will make some angry but so be it. I cant run my business this way. I want to end by saying that I appreciate all the hard work that goes into this. Many hard hours Iam sure. But dont we all work hard for our money earned and spent?
I've requested an update on this this morning but with folks...
...out of town for the holidays I don't expect an answer right away. I'll post or Jay will, as soon as possible.
It will come children.
Every year we go thru this. I am just as anxious as everyone, but over the years I have learned to be extra patient. This is the Christmas holiday season and everyone is super busy with family and friends (as we should be). And every year I have gotten my LE. And I think that at this moment in time on our planet there are quite a few people just waiting for food and clothing. The people at this site and Legacy DO have you in mind, but be patient, your car will arrive and you will be made whole.
Well said and i agree 100 %
John........Very well said and very well put. It's not like they got the money up front from us and skipped town. We only put in a deposit, and when it's time they will notify us that the car is in the mail and the balance due will be charged to the credit card.
Have patience out there people. If not today then maybe tomorrow and if not then maybe the day after. But sure as we are sitting in front of our PC's they will come and then you will all be able to put them in their glass cases and oggle them or tear them apart for the ride height, the paint problem, the suspension being wrong, etc.
Isn't life grand! Only in America.....We who have so much can complain about so little as a TOY. This is just my opinion!
Sorry If I Offended Anyone...
I did not mean to act like a child. Marco
Marco, just because no one sided with you doesn't mean you don't have a valid point. I agree with you. It's a matter of common courtesy, not to mention good business practice to keep one's customers abreast of matters, especially when a promised due date comes and goes without delivery.
I'm as anxious as anyone to get my little hands on that beauty
But I would rather have a perfect model that was reviewed and corrected (if necessary). I can wait.
I agree too...
I've had an especially frustrating week trying to get info from businesses where I am a "customer".
The ones that have been very helpful (despite a shutdown this week) are TFM, Danbury Mint (ordered the 48 Buick, 68 Roadrunner and 57 Bel Air Hardtop!
) Traditions Unlimited, and Department 56.
The ones that consider a "shut-down" too literally are Corgi (although I received the catalog last week), Memory Company, The National Hockey League, and my friend I am visiting in Scottsdale next month for Barrett Jackson. I can't get ahold of anyone this week!!!
Seriously though with a sluggish albeit hopeful economy I was hoping that more companies would go the extra mile to get that last amount of volume in before Jan 1. I guess it will all eventually come down to who wants it more...survival of the fittest? I bet if anyone wanted release updates on the new WCPD cars they would get more than a detailed schedule from Brian Dunning!
Happy New Year Marco...when all else fails you know I will be open!
