I can’t seem to resist painting the tops of some of my 1950’s Chevys white. In the case of the black DM ‘57 and blue DM ‘58, I think they look better with a white roof than they do all one color. Especially the ‘58.
I did the FM ‘56 as an experiment. It’s okay, but I think I like the original black roof better.
I may sell the ‘56 and ‘57.

Two neighbors had '58 Impalas in the '60's; one was silver blue and the other pink, both with white roofs. I love the look of your '58. I think I'll do the same to mine.

The 58 is outstanding, the 57 is okay but the 56 is questionable.

to be honest I too agree with Bob. As for the skill and effort on display.....brilliant!@bob-jackman I agree with that assessment.
