Who collect big scale 1/12 and up..........
and what do you have in your collection that is worth to mention as outstanding models?

Me me I do I do LOL to date FM '07 Rolls, 67 Vette Blue, DM 64Mustang, 57 red Chevy and 30 Cadillac
I love each for a different reason. I also would LOVE to add the Bauer Mercedes and a CMC Horch eventually, but at present cannot afford to do so! 🙁 So for now enjoy what I have right? 😉 I'd have to say the Cadillac and Mustang are my favorites, the Caddy just a nod ahead of the Stang. So in favorite order Cadillac, Mustang, 67 Corvette, 57 Chevy, 1907 Rolls Royce Ghost. Ghost takes last place only because its a little too plasticy in some areas, though the over all presentation is nice and the tufted real leather seats are awesome. The 67 Corvette took a slight lead to the DM 57 Chevy only because of subject matter and color. The 57 Chevy is definitely the better of the two models detail wise and over all realism. Again each one is a great model for a different reason!

I also have a number of 1:8 scale too but they're not included here.

Marlowe curious why you rated the Cadillac 8 and the 57 Chevy a 10??
Why did the Caddy lose 2 points over the Chevy or the DM Mustang. I agree those other 2 are 10s, but why 8 for the 1930 Cadillac? Subject matter? The saggy tire syndrome? Does yours have paint issues?

The Caddy lacks the working features of the other models. More specifically, the suspension ...
... is static and does not function. Then of course, there is the tire problem which although there are solutions, is annoying an irrating to have to deal with.

(PIC'S) I've owned all the 1:12 DM cars but the custom Vette of the Big Kahuna
Had three Mustangs, Two Caddy's, both Corvette's and both Chevy's. I sold all but the Chevy's. I also have a white GMP Cobra and a Vanquish left. They took up too much room for me. I love the Chevy's because frankly, I never cared for neither DM nor FM's 1:24 versions. Too old and too toyish. All DM's 1:12 cars are more than nice though. They are beautiful.
Oh, I also owned two FM red Corvette's and a black version.
Sorry, no pictures of those or the black version. I do have pictures of 35/99 (Silver) FM. The horn and the ignition sounds were some of the best features on any 1:12 car. I always wished DM had adopted some type of sound device in their cars. I also had the GMP Compuware #64 Racing Corvette.

I agree on the tires. As for working features......
It WAS a more simple 1:1. No roll up windows or stuff like that. It does have all the working features of the 57 and mustang. ALL lights work, dash, brake, interior, headlights with highbeams, even road lamps light AND turn. Seat moves fore and aft, convertible tops works, Fan turns on engine when rear wheels are turned, etc. Can't think of a single feature it lacks compared to the other 1:12s a side from roll up windows which the car didnt have ANY side windows that could rolls up. That said, what feature/s do you feel it lacks?

I like the sound feature of the Corvette BUT I always thought ....
It was stupid and unrealistic that they had the speaker mounted under the tire well. When you honk the horn or start the engine the sounds come from the REAR LOLOL THis wasnt a rear engine car hee hee Aside from that nit its a cool model and nice feature. They could have just as easily hide the speaker up front somewhere!

It also has cowl and hood side vents....................
than can be opened or closed. It is a very cool feature, I never checked if it has working suspension and it is not an issue in my appreciation of this model.

The 1/10 Exoto GT40 is still an outstanding masterpiece I remember very well.

Most are on display but many are unbuilt models. Those are:
