What a beautiful car and replica. It is in a great color scheme, too. Really nice !

Absolutely beautiful! An iconic color combination and a perfect model for any collection. I do wish DM had done more with this tooling. As fine as this is, other colors would have been fantastic.

The heading says it all. A work of art and the pictures capture that in every way.

Absolutely a beautiful model from DM.  But PLEASE put the skirts back on it.  The open rear wheel well looks hideous without them.  And I liked FM's version too, even though the roofline is is not to scale.  Both models are among my favorites though!

56 chevys dm and fm

Thanks all for the kind words. George, I'm just the opposite,  I don't like skirts except on luxury cars. I think they look odd on sporty cars. That's just me though, lol. The reason I  bought this JADA '56 convertible over the FM. Plus I liked the color better.😊

@geno I agree Geno; to my eye skirts often change the body line of a car and not for the better.....especially on early 60s cars.

I like it both ways, so fortunately we have the choice to display it either way or have more than one and display each differently.

for a short while back around the time of this models release we had a local suburban retailer selling DMs. I remember grabbing this, the Studebaker Dictator and the 57 T'bird. Fantastic model and great pics, thanks Geno.
