I'm going to see if you guys are interested in some of the toys and models I had as a kid that either I didn't completely destroy or my parents gave away to the local kids while I was overseas. I was always interested in cars and designs. Before I was 6 when we lived in Brooklyn, my mother would take me from the poor area we lived after WWll to Brooklyn Heights to a park. Then, I was fascinated with hood ornaments. I knew the Pierce Arrow, Duesenberg, Cadillac, Lincoln and the like. It was about a half century later when I realized what a rich neighborhood she took me to. OK, flash forward to 1954, when I had a love affair with the styling of the orphan cars like Kaiser and Nash. Mattel just released their futuristic friction powered XP-1960 dream car models... what we'd be driving in the year 1960. Well, over time I managed to talk my mother into getting me the XP-1960 in two colors as well as a larger somewhat similar bubble top Mattel future car that I don't have a box for so I don't remember what they called it. I'm adding on more rather surrealistic Banthrico bank take on what was Chrysler's "Forward Look" that came to be 3 years later. If you like these, I have more.
