Dear Friends,
Apologies for the late notice, I'm only active on my Facebook Page these days because of functional simplicity from a smart phone. You can see all of the history and anything related to 1:43 at my facebook page: "1:43rd Scale Hand-Built Autos".
It's an open, uncensored, free exchange of all things 1:43rd-CHECK IT OUT!
The 1:43rd & Automobilia Show on March 14, 2026 is this Saturday from 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. and is now open to all model car scales & automobilia.
My goal is to make this event a destination to conduct any and all 1:43rd scale business in addition to buying models from your favorite dealer or producer, most of which will be in attendance.
A detailed itinerary is shown below.
Tables are available for The1/43rd Show at $50 each. You can pay by check, venmo, zelle, or paypal (F&F). If you're interested please let me know.
A block of rooms is being held at the William Tell Holiday Inn under the code "CAR" for $119 per night.
As previously mentioned, the hotel is under new Management and has changed the name back to "The William Tell" Holiday Inn. Improvements are obvious in the lobby and "Tell's Tavern" will be open for the show.
For those of us that want to see the hobby grow, I ask that you invite or bring somebody new to the show to introduce them to the hobby. If you bring a new "guest", admission will be waived for both (all) in your group.
If I haven't confirmed with you in person, please reply to me, ONLY, if you'd like to be included on the dinner reservations and for which night.
I look forward to seeing everyone for another weekend of cars and camaraderie.
A list of vendors will be available early tomorrow.
Again, sorry for the late response. Most of you that typically attend already know the schedule, but it still takes a lot of time & effort to coordinate the Chicagoland schedule, organize the show, and finish my model builds.
