Here's one that's not seen very often, perhaps because it's an older Mikansue kit.  My slip on the underside says 1927 Stutz Blackhawk / GRAND TOURISME SERIES#4 by Mikansue, built spring 2011.  As I took it down from the shelves and positioned it for a picture, one tire slipped loose and one headlight fell off.  Looks like my fun time for tomorrow has now been scheduled!

David it seems to happen every time I take a model down to show it to someone.

LOL! I was running a Ford dealership in 1989. We took in a two-year-old AMC Alliance that had only 19,000 miles on it. These cars had horrid reputations. I felt bad about offering the owner only $700 for his trade. But he jumped at it right away. That made me feel even worse about my offer. A week later, I was standing in the used car lot with my used car manager when we heard the noise of metal falling on the ground. After investigating, we found that a trim piece had fallen from the Alliance even though no one was around and it had not been driven. It was falling apart from just sitting there! I wound up wholesaling the car after sitting on the lot for over a month with no interest in it. It sold for $400. The wholesaler told me, "I'm only buying this as a favor to you. I'm going to have a hard time selling it."

That Alliance had much in common with David's model.

LOL, John.  But mine is easier to repair, and better looking too!

Okay, it's all repaired now.  I'm showing it with a really strong glue that I have started using fairly often.  Be careful (as always), because a tiny little bit is all it usually takes.
