This model is being introduced as the first car of a series of 1930 prestigious automobiles being issued by the Bradford Exchange. I'm not sure if the Bradford Exchange is available in the US but in Canada it operates similar to the Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint. The second car in the series is the 1933 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow followed by the 1935 Auburn Boattail Speedster and then the 1935 Duesenberg SSJ. While the later 3 have been issued by various manufacturers in 1:43 scale, I am not aware of the Packard Brewster ever issued in 1:43 scale. A picture of the Packard is below. Release is expected later this month or early next month. The price is very reasonable $69.99 CDN (about $50.00 US plus shipping and applicable tax). I believe the model is diecast.

Ken, I saw an ad for this some time ago for the same price in the United States as you show. The price certainly seems reasonable. For some reason I dismissed this but can't remember why.

this appears to be a sculpture, probably ceramic

“1930 Packard Brewster Sculpture

Limited edition! Handcrafted, hand-painted sculpture inspired by a vintage car classic showcases gleaming metallic accents and exacting details.”

I received as a gift a 2004 Corvette offered by them which is very nice but not what you expect of a diecast.

In the US, it looks like the Hamilton Collection:

When I ran a Chrysler dealership in the early nineties, we purchased our dealer promos through the Bradford exchange. They were squarely on a level with brands like Maisto and Bburago, lots of opening features and decent workmanship, but lacking some of the detail we enjoy.

@frank Frank, you just reminded me why I dismissed this as the copy refers to the model as a sculpture.

Thanks to everyone for your input on this model. After reading your comments, I went back and re-read the advertisement for this car in an old autos publication. The add clearly provides a lot of information about the real car but very little about the model other than it is 1:43 scale and perfectly "sculptured".I decided to write the Bradford Exchange customer service and get further clarification on what they are actually selling. I'll post my findings when I hear more.

@jkuvakas There was also Brookfield Collectables. I have their 1996 Chrysler LHS in Drama Gold, just like our car. It is 1/24.
