Really fine work, John.  I know you started with a fine kit, but your preparation, assembly, and paint really created something special.  Many thanks for your good post, and I needed it.  Right now I'm in the frustrating painting of a Danbury Mint.  Yes, the kind that just won't dis-assemble, doggone it.

I have built several K&R kits with satisfying results. My two favorite K&R models I had built by them were models of the two 1/1 1956 Austin Healeys  which I owned back in the early sixties.
