Do you think that Minimarque could remake this 1939 Packard Club coupe a second time? I don't know when the model came out but it looks gorgeous. I am unable to find a photo on the net other than this one taken on their site. Surely it should be shown in the book Independents in miniatures? Anyone have this Packard in their collection and other photos?

A remake of this model would be greatly appreciated by me-I've not seen it other than in photos. I would be thrilled to have one or many in my collection.

Merci pour le lien Karl. They did a lot of beautiful Packards and Hudson that have never been redone in my knowledge? It's seem to be awhile that i did not see a new release Minimarque. I have just one Minimarque the 1956 Packard 400 in two tone Blue.

Reading Michel's comments and looking at his picture, I went over to my Packard section to see mine.  Surprise!  I don't have one either.  Most likely Minimarque only offered these briefly and either I didn't see it or, more likely, it was at a time when I was short of funding (yeah, that happens too often.)  However, I do have a much less accurate and also much less expensive alternative that might make a space filler until Minimarque resumes, hopefully.

okay, so it has gray tires, an incorrect spare, an awful trunk line, and funny looking people inside, but maybe you can dim the lights when looking at it.

Have fun!  David H Laugh

Beautiful model, Frank.

I found this photo on one of my usb keys. I think it's a photo from Steve Williams' collection but I'm not sure? Those three Packards must be made by Minimarques i think? The Boattail Speedster for sure.

I enhanced mine with bare metal foil bumpers, pulled the spare tire off and filled the hole, painted the running boards and tires flat black for a considerable improvement.  I actually like the occupants including the back seat dog.

"Back seat dog" - You must mean Snowy!  (Milou for our French friends!)
