1940 Packard Darrin Super 8 Victoria by Western Models (WMS31).
I have collected a significant number of Western Models over the years. It is nice to see them continued in the Brooklin fold.
This one I rather like in deep red with a white top up. It is white metal and about 35 years old at this point.
Nice model and a nice background. That makes a great set of pictures.

Fine pictures, Prof. Green. I agree with you on these Western models, with one small exception- I like that Packard open.
But I really appreciate Western giving us the optional top, just in case of rain.
It looks great top down David. I have a top down version from Minimarque 43 which I need to photograph.
I always liked the Packard Victoria of the 30s - 40s. I have the 2 Victorias (1934 - 1937) Automodello did and they are wonderful models. This was a great time for coachbuilders.
Bowman and Schwartz also did the phenomenal 1940 Cadillac Victoria that of course pairs very well with these Packards. This is an early GLM model.
Great pictures and setup David G and David H.. I have this model in maroon and in dark Green.
Here is my Minimarque 43 version.
