In recent years Brooklin has issued the 1948 Tucker in all the factory colors Tucker did. It is a completely revised casting that is incredibly accurate. Tucker #1041 left the factory finished in black and fitted with black tires. At some point it was repainted yellow and remained that way for many years until several years ago when a ground up restoration returned it to its factory specs. I bought two black Brooklins and fitted one with black tires to replicate #1041.

Now your talking... I love this one as well as all colors of the newer Tucker issued by Brooklin.
I have one with the black walls like yours. I bought a 2nd one to display that way.
Another great comparison, thanks David.

@ptc I guess I should have stated that these are the seven versions of BRK 222. There are of course numerous versions of the original, and revised, No. 2 casting. But 222 marked a commitment by Brooklin to a new level of authenticity.
And according to some information gathered over the years. these are the original factory colors. Many have been repainted such as a couple in gold. A few have been rsstored to their original specs such as one that was converted to front engine with an Oldsmobile power plant and painted pink. It has since been restored and returned to its original Maroon with correct interior.
