Found this kit of a Lincoln presidential parade car on Ebay from a vendor in eastern Europe who does these in 3D printed kits in four different scales.  Ordered and built the 43rd one.  My first experience with 3D printed models.  This could open up a whole new model world.   More details and construction info to follow in an upcoming MAR article.

That looks great and 3D printing has some real possibilities. I have Yat Ming's 1/24 scale 1950 Lincoln Presidential limo and it also is an exceptionally cool model and automobile. My Grandpa and Grandma also had a real 1:1 1949 Lincoln that I still can remember.

Always loved these two.  IMO, these "water buffalo Lincolns"  look best as stretch limousines. The absence of skirts adds to the convertible's good looks, yet they're definitely needed on the formal sedan. Nice pics, thanks!

"water buffalo Lincolns"

For the record, I did NOT coin this term.  I read it many years ago and, well, it fits!  😀 😉
