Since it is Firetruck Friday, I thought a slightly different fire truck might be in order. This is an early 1990s issue by Matchbox of a 1952 Land Rover as used by the Royal Navy for

P1080207
P1080206
P1080204
P1080208

work.

gearbox 143.   Being a retired CG officer I thought I’d share.

Frank,  Welcome aboard!   Your Coast Guard duo caught my eye very quickly.  Then I saw your note.  I have a son who is also a retired Coast Guard officer.   I went to eBay and looked up Coast Guard 1/43 and found several possibilities, even though not the pair you have.  I did see a couple of US Coast Guard trucks and one helicopter.   Interesting, but as of now my son has no interest in my little cars and trucks.  Anyhow, welcome, and thanks for your good post.   David H Hi
