Finished up the Atlantis stake truck. Not a hard kit to build. A bit of a fit issue between the removable hood and the door/cowl. Since it was cast in a nice shade of blue I left it that way, painted only the undercarriage flat black, the bed wood color and the Stove bolt 235 six a light blue color. Debated about the wheels, but finally decided to go with cream, same color as the front bumper and grill insert. My modifications: Fitted jeweled headlamps, red jeweled tail lamps, and my own more robust side mirrors, LH and RH. Shown with a load of homemade hay bales and the kit supplied barrels and shipping crates. Have not applied the livery decals. For comparison, shown with some other 1955 Chevrolet products.

Nice addition to your collection of 1955 Chevy vehicles.

Very nice John. My Sinclair tanker arrived today.
@ed-davis The box is dated 1994 and 1955. Probably Revell just re-issued an older set, using the original art work.
Thanks for the photo showing the years. I remember building many Revell models in late 1950s and early 1960s, which included planes, military vehicles, cars, and trucks. I do not know Atlantis's reissue plans, but some of their military vehicles are 1/40 scale. Today, I only have one Revell model. It is a B-25 bomber from WW2 in 1/48 scale. The kit was produced in late 1960s. I found it in early 1990s. Attached is a photo of the plane with a WMCE 1941 Buick for a size reference. Also, this is a car forum, so a picture of only a model plane might not be appropriate.

No problem with the aircraft model. My scale model fetish, includes a 1:200 scale model of every commercial aircraft from the DC2 to the 737 Max plus the Douglas jets, Lockheed Constellation, Electra, L1011 and even some British ones like the Vickers Viking, Bristol Britannia, BAe 146, and others.

There is a nice video of the construction and painting of this on the Atlantis-models website. It reminds me of the things I built many years ago.
