One of Chrysler’s great cars of all time was the ‘55 C-300.  Here it is in a 1:1 and 1:43 scale by Brooklin. Love that grille taken from the Imperial.

Great pictures! It's hard to tell the 1:1 from the 1:43!

The updated white Brooklin has more chrome and other details than the earlier red version. I have and love both!

Great pics, but many manufactures seem to have problems correctly replicating Mopar  roofs on mid-'50s cars. This Brooklin,  sadly, is no exception; it too is simply not tall enough. It looks chopped. 😕 😔

@chris Yes, the top is too low. I found this the case on their 56 Ford as well

@chazy-r   But if you are referring to the early Brooklin '56 Ford hardtop do keep in mind that the hard tops (pillarless cars) did have a lower roof and windscreen than sedans and wagons.  This photo shows a bit of that difference.

And while I was looking at '56 Ford these came up.

A really nice Chrysler 300 ! It most definitely is one of the all-time American cars and it is great to have a Brooklin replica of it.

I have a MotorMax 1/43 diecast of this one in red with a white top and one can only imagine how cool it would be to drive around in a 1:1 edition in 1955 !

@chazy-r Oh, there's no question about that.

Wasn't that the same issue with the Motor Max and Maisto models in 1/18 ?

The Maisto suffered from that, and it was under-scaled...in fact, I used that "model"  as a "parts car."  I used the top to create an AWB 1951 Ford Gasser. The Motor Max was less affected, but it's slightly over-scaled. Not being a fan of "wires,"  I replaced them with wheelcovers.

ACME (Precision Minatures ) got everything right on their 1956 Chrysler St. Regis.

Your Gasser looks incredible Chris. I don't ever remember seeing it before.

And that Chrysler St Regis is one that I've never gotteni. It looks amazing in that color combo but it came out after I sold most of my collection.

And I'm trying very hard to not give into the temptation to buy again.

I stood in the aisle at Costco the other day trying to decide if I wanted the beautiful Maisto Ferrari or the Lamborghini. I finally put them back in the mix and walked away. And I felt good about it as I walked out the door not spending a single cent.

But that St Regis is tempting me.....

@mikedetorrice Mike, Barry can't turn back the clock to 1955 but he can drive his 55 Windsor in 2023 and I can drive my 1955 Imperial in 2023.
