Usually, these little cars give us a diversion from the stresses of 1:1 scale life. After yet another mass slaughter of school children I have been unable to focus on much of anything but this tragic shooting in Texas. All of you who do not live in the United States must be wondering what kind of nation are we that we refuse to address this perverse obsession with guns in America. Since this forum is about little cars, I will attempt to focus on another one of my favorite Brooklins, the 1955 Chrysler Windsor. Imagine Brooklin releasing a model of a car as pedestrian as a 4 door pillared sedan at a price that most collectors could afford. Under Brooklin’s new regime, those days seem to be gone. Only high falutin cars are being replicated in small numbers at sticker prices well beyond the means of many of us. So I will be looking to my present collection for any satisfaction these older models have to provide. This ‘55 Chrysler brings back happy memories of a boyhood friend (still a friend) whose dad had one of these.

Funny, I just finished washing mine in preparation for a car show next weekend!
My Windsor is the more deluxe trim "Newport" 2-dr. HT.

@moe-parr Beautiful car and smart color combination! I'm sure you'll take a trophy next week.
David, like you I use my model cars as a diversion from all the problems in the real world. Thanks for your comments.

Nice model David, a great color. I have this one and the gray version. All of the '55 Chrysler models are favorites in my collection.
