Norev did a nice replica of the 1958 DKW later to be Auto Union. Then VW bought Auto Union and the car with the four rings would become the Audi.

Always an attractively styled car and an unusual pillarless hardtop, rare for Europe.

It is a good-looking car and model and perhaps has just a little bit of a Borgward Isabella look, although maybe I guess a bit smaller/stumpier than that one. I am not so familiar with European cars but an attractive car is universal in it's appeal and this one makes for a fine replica.Â
I have this one and love it.
I love your comparison photos and notice the red car has suicide doors. The only DKW I have is the wagon, a replica of the one I took me drivers license test in way back in 1961 which definitely had the suicide doors.

I believe this was a development of the DKW F8 of 1939 / '42 (below is a photo's of an F9 prototype using this body shell which wound-up in Australia at one point). Â Like Horch, Â the plant fell into Russian hands in 1945 where the F9 was produced as the IFA F9 which IXO reproduced nicely for their 'Est' range. The body shell also bears a close resemblance to the 1939 Horch 930S Stromlin below. Â Apparently the IFA's reached the market before DKW's version.
I should add, that Horch were in the same stable as Audi, Wanderer, and DKW which together formed the four rings, representing Auto Union, and hence the similar styling.
Nice interior-dash shot showing that 4-on-the-tree shifter!

@karl BTW Karl, the Lane now has a 2018 Alpine A110. Wish I could drive that one but Chris says it will not be made available.
