Which medium, color, b&w, or sepia do you think shows these cars the best?

Since the gold trim on the Adventurer is what makes the car a standout, I think the color photos display it to its best advantage.

You posed the Brooklin perfectly to contrast with the picture of the 1:1!

It looks superb, both as a real DeSoto and as a Brooklin. I like DeSoto Adventurer automobiles, so this one is a treat in either black and white, sepia, or color.  I recall I was delighted as a little kid to get up on the turntable with my Mom and older sister at the 1960 Chicago Automobile Show along with a prop dog ........ and the beautiful 1960 DeSoto Adventurer ! I had a promo of that car, too.

I agree; the angle of your shot is perfectly aligned. All media treatments work well, but you've missed-out duo-tone which would be in perfect keeping for this era.  Photoshop fake duo-tone is not very successful - there's nothing like the real thing - but it's worth a shot. (Excuse the pun).

I personally prefer the B/W.

Interesting that Western Models did this Adventurer as well.  I got mine back in 1995 and also in black.
