Does anyone know if NEO did a 1959 Dodge hardtop as a California Highway Patrol car?   I can not find one,  or remember.  Might have been a bit of modeling fudging as the CHP actually had two door sedans not hardtops but for the B post they were almost the same.

Yes, Neo did a CHP version of their 1:43 1959 Dodge 2 door HT. As you say, a hardtop police car may not be strictly authentic but I have one and I think it looks pretty good.

Seems to be hard to find, the specimens I found online were being offered by Russian dealers. (Don't know if they are actually available. Sites may be out of date.)

Thanks, Graeme.  I knew someone would know.  Now I'll have to go on a search.  What sites are you referring to?  I could easily add a B post for realism, otherwise NEO got it correct with external lights, mirrors, aerials, and dog dish hubcaps and black walls.

NEO 1:43 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer Coupe California Highway Patrol 1959 (black / white) NEO49500

Масштабная модель DODGE Customs Royal Lancer Coupe California Highway Patrol 1959 лучшая цена!

And good luck making any sense of those! As I said, site info may be out of date in both cases.

Well using the second link, and Google translate, I determined it's no longer available but the last one sold for 3300 Russian rubles which I found is a shade less than $32.00 US which would have been quite a deal but who knows what the exchange rate was then and what shipping would have been.  Not real happy to spend money with Russian now anyway.  So you are a lucky man Graeme.
