When starting my collection, part of my philosophy was to have a wide range of model makers represented. As a 143 scale collection, Brooklin, Franklin Mint, Corgi, Dinky, Solido and others are well represented. Now I remember Danbury Mint being advertised in my younger days and always see DM mentioned by the 124 group. So I was a little surprised when searching for a 143 scale 1962 Corvette to add, I came across one on eBay (my first eBay purchase) by Danbury Mint. Now it doesn’t have the quality and detail of the 124 DMs, but it is pretty cool nonetheless.
Apparently it was included as part of a 50th Anniversary Corvette display offered by DM.

Nice. A very hard to find model these days.

It looks wonderful in full-size or model form and that's what counts. I have a 1/43 Franklin Mint automobile and it's an excellent replica.

...these didn't go over that well with collectors as I recall. Each model was basically a painted-up piece of solid resin. I think Danbury promoted these as "cold cast." I didn't realize they're now hard to find.

Nice snag, Frank! Finding something new like this is part of the fun of collecting. Isn't it?
