I always forget these were also produced as 4-doors. They're a bit different looking, but not ugly!  😎 😀

Well said Chris. The two door model is more familiar.

Provence Moulage did a nice one too - Ava Gardner's apparently.

There was a proposal to revive Packard using the Facel Vega Excellence fitted with Packard V8s. Apparently, it was nixed by Mercedes who didn't want competition in the showroom.

Facel- Vega is bright and amazing page in the auto history. From 1954 till 1964 the company by Jean Daninos was producing high- quality, beautiful and prestigious cars. The receipt of success was reliable American V8 and amazing design. Unfortunately, in 60s Daninoz decided to create his own engine and gearbox. Alas, they were unreliable and spoilt all reputation for the Facel- Vega brand. The clients refused of many orders and the company had to close its doors.

The models in 1/43 scale are very wishful for collectors. In my opinion the best are, of course, made by Provence Moulage. They are hsndbuilt as the real cars and very sophisticated. IXO is good variant by a reasonable price but the quality isn't very high. Matrix is very high detailed but chinese filler into resin makes it very fragile.
