I have no specific or definitive answer on which Chevy Show might be connected to the model - standby for better answers.
BUT, I love the truck!
It looks great, Joop and makes a great replica ! I wonder if it was for the set up and exhibits meant for a Chevrolet truck announcement show usually geared towards their dealers and the dealer network.
I took pictures at a dealer announcement show in Reno, NV and Nashville, TN in the late 1980's but generally it was for dealers and their families and not really for the public.
Here is a snap of a GMC Truck announcement show model set-up in about 1960. Many trucks would probably be used to bring in the exhibits and vehicles. Maybe this is one of them for Chevrolet ?

THAT makes perfect sense Mike. I'm betting you're right.
I saw this 1/43 model a few months back, but I don't have any details pertaining to Chevy Shows.
I can only assume they were smaller, more focused versions of the GM Motoramas that preceded them. Apparently, these Chevy-show-semis evolved over time. This 1/43 appears to be fairly authentic. Pretty cool too..... 😎 😎 😎
I'm not familiar with the trucks but the model looks terrific.
thanks guys for your help in solving this mystery....
