I suppose there are many Forum members who have not seen this 4 piece model set (of 240 done) by Brooklin Models for the Brooklin Collectors Club in 2002. Personally I think it is the best club model ever done by Brooklin and I believe it represents a high point and very positive and exciting time in Brooklin Models history. Initially it consists of a 1961 Imperial convertible in Cinnamon towing a trailer. On the trailer is a 1955 Chrysler C-300, which is very well done as a well used up, battered derelict. It has missing chrome trim, dulled paint, a missing headlight, tail light, hubcaps and wiper. It even has a large dent in the driver's side rear quarter. This set is called "Found At Last" and it obviously depicts a barn find being trailered home for restoration. A supplemental and optional third piece of this set was a BRK 19A black Chrysler C-300, complete with an Oman figure of a proud owner, polishing rag in hand, standing beside his beautiful "now restored" black C-300 and beside him is his car show trophy. I have attached a series of pics; hopefully they do the set justice.

I never knew about that model set, since it was many years before purchasing my first Brooklin model. We may never see anything like that again, and I am glad you shared the pictures.

Hmmm.....  One I've never seen either 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤨Â
What a great set. I did see it back in 2002 but not for years. I remember being very impressed by the ‘barn find’ Chrysler C-300 as shop worn Brooklins were almost unknown. I do remember seeing a couple of code 3s. The restored car with its proud owner adds a great touch. Thank you Jack for this great post and a reminder of a wonderful club model.
This is a wonderful set of models. I bought the Imperial alone in early 2019. I didn't know at the time it was part of a set. I was then able to find a complete set several months later and I was thrilled with it when it arrived. Now I have two of the Imperial models, someday I hope to find someone to repaint it another color.

Thanks Jack for the pictures and story of a set I had never seen.
Many thanks, Jack. Great models from a fine period of BRK production! I don't believe I have seen them before. Â
@jcarnutz Hey John, as you may have seen my work on the forum, I could repaint it a factory color of your choice. Let me know at rosechuck39@gmail.com. Regards, Chuck
