I love the '60 Mercury too, especially the taillights. Regretfully, I missed this gorgeous Park Lane hardtop but at least I got the wagon which shares those same taillights:

Most years Mercurys looked either like a Ford or a Lincoln, this is one of the years it had it's own distinct style.

@moe-parr  This turquoise wagon arrived yesterday.  I actually wanted the lavender colored one but missed out on it so got this one instead.  I really like it; much more than I thought I would.

Jack I think the wood grain looks better with the turquoise than the lavender. I like this model a lot too, lots of intricate trim details from stem to stern, and an eye-catching color brings the display shelf to life!

I'd still love to add that blue hardtop coupe that started off this thread to my collection too!

If I collected 1:43 scale, this would be a "must have".  I love the '60 Mercury, but not enough to go the small scale route.  Smile
