The book American Wheels, (4th edition) by Rettig, indicates it is a 1966 model, but no year of issue is listed.
A quick look at my shelves turns up these Cragstans. A 1964 Chevrolet Malibu station wagon (8100) and a 1966 Chevrolet Impala two door hardtop. (8103). I am sure Cragstan made others. Never seen the Imperial convertible pictured above.

It is #8111.
Cragstan were also known as Sabra. I find on the "Bay" a mid 60s Eldorado, a second generation Corvair coupe, circa 1969 Barracuda fastback ,  a Toronado a Riviera, and and a Corvette.  Were there others?

I used to have several of the Sabra cars, also known as Gambda Koor, made in Israel. Cragstan marketed them here under their name and they came in plastic garages glued to cards that could be hung on store pegs, Hot Wheels-like. I sold mine off, since most have been (or are likely to be) made better in recent years. Most are 1966 cars, give or take 2 years. Note the Israeli police car ('66 Impala)Â in the last pic.
Cragstan marketed the Sabras in the US - with their own Detroit Seniors baseplates and packaging. Â
Bickford has a long list - not sure if it is complete or if Cragstan issued all of them.
I have the Rafi book on them if you have other specific questions. Sabras were made from 1966 to 1975. At some point before '75, Cragstan pulled out of their agreement.Â
HobbyDB has just a few Cragstans but many Sabras!

@mg-harv Is that white with stripes Barracuda a Cragstan? Very nice! Could I add these to hobbyDB, or do you have time to do it? Â
@skip Nice collection! 😆 I should have picked up a bunch of these 20 years ago when no one collected them. Now 'epay' prices can be quite high!
@jkuvakas Yes, John - you are correct - the Impala is a '66.

@skip, I think that's the only model of a '66 I've ever seen.Â
