It looks great! I posed it here with an appropriate shelf-mate:

Looks fantastic, especially next to your Electra 225!

I would have to yank those wipers off though and either save them for a project or use them to replace an inferior set on another model.   That gold color really seems to shimmer.   Perhaps a silver car (instead of green ) is more season-appropriate.    "Silver & Gold, Silver & Gold...."    😀 😀

Anyway, congrats and Merry Christmas to you Barry!

I don't struggle as much with the wipers. The lipped hood is there. Back in the day these were introduced, it was fairly common to see cars with the wipers peeking out above the hood. We all knew they were supposed to be hidden.

Yes, very true John....     and of course, these 1/43 peek-a-boo-wipers will certainly not deter any sales.

To me (because I'm nuts! ) they stick out (no pun intended ) because for 1967 GM went to great lengths to conceal "corporate wipers"  with their newly elongated hood designs.   Seeing those wipers is like looking at the proverbial kitchen junk-drawer that's unnecessarily left open exposing unsightly clutter.

Also, I KNOW I can use these beautifully replicated 1/43 wipers to replace others that are not so well rendered.  😏 😏

The light gold really does shimmer and looks particularly cool, (in the proper sense) with the white vinyl - a feature I love. Neo did a nice '68, though it doesn't shine as Barry's does.

Thanks Barry. I just received mine today in the same color along with the 62 Buick Invicta Staion Wagon in Beige. Both models are drop dead gorgeous.
