GLM, or rather, Stamp Models’ 1976 Buick Electra 225 Limited Coupe has just arrived, and it’s big, even in 1/43rd. It’s available in Boston Red Metallic, Continental Blue Metallic, and Black. It’s a beautifully finished model with loads and loads of detail. I was never keen on 1970s American cars, but this one almost displays the extravagant over statements of the 1950s, but not quite. Here’s the photos.
Nice models, great photos. 👍. I particularly like the “Boston” red.

Mike, these are beautiful Buicks that could pass for the real thing. They sure were land yachts. Today’s offerings from Buick are a far cry from what Buick was then.

i suppose coming from a GM expert Harv, that is praise indeed. I’m quite pleased that I collect Buick’s as a sub collection so I can add this one without feeling guilty. 😉

I remember hearing that about these Buicks when they were new. "The dads" would gripe about plastic grills, cheesy fake wood, stupid bumper pads & thin metal...oh yeah, the lame HP too.
@mike-coupe Thanks Mike for the pictures and your commentary. In 1976 I had a neighbor who had an Oldsmobile 98 Luxury Sedan with the plush velour interior...it looked like a rolling house of ill repute but he drove that car for years with virtually no problems.
This stunning new Electra looks drivable. A fine harbormate to moor along side Sergio's upcoming '76 Olds Regency and GLM's original '76 red Electra 4-door.
