Great photograph JK. I kick myself that I never did this myself. For some reason, I thought it would stay in business forever. Miss it!
They had an incredible selection of models. And...while we were there, there was a small group of folks just standing around, talking about models. They invited me to join while Kelly went for a cup of tea. For me, it was like visiting family!

St Martins, which I have visited with Graeme Ogg, was much like Autofanatics run by Jon Norbert in Sherman Oaks, California. Sadly, also no longer in business. There were always a few collectors and motorheads hanging around talking models and cars. Never missed a chance to visit while on a business trip to LA.

Thanks for the photos - never knew St Martins did that!
Now a few collectors and motorheads hang around talking models and cars at Grand Prix Models in Banbury, England. Not now of course but before the Covid-19 situation every first Saturday in the month they opened their showrooms and I stayed chatting for 2/3 hours. It was a bit like a mini ModeleX.

Last time that I visited Grand Prix Models, they were in Radlett. Great place. I obviously have not kept up with their location but glad to see they are still in business.

Still a great place David. My first models for 2021 were purchased from GPM.
